SHIT! TALES FROM THE CRAPPER

I have a new side project going....The company is called "Don't Forget To Flush Productions" My first book release is called : SHIT! TALES FROM THE CRAPPER
I invited six friends, seven including myself to write something funny or gross or both. With the main theme being of course shit! Well the book release party is happening March 27th at The Blue Rock Tavern located on Hamilton Ave across from Hoffner Park here in Northside. We will have a total of six readers/speakers. There will be a toilet set up for atmosphere........The show starts exactly at 9:30pm.

long time no post

I haven't posted for a long time....Got on Facebook and never looked back. Aurore Press has put out a limited edition chapbook called "Blood State" since my last post. www.aurorepress.com for information. I just wanted to say that I am cracking up about the whole Brian Kelly leaving U.C. for Notre Dame. He'll probably triple his salary???? and live happily ever after. I see these idiots on t.v. making the rest of us look even stupider than the tea baggers. That's Cincinnati for you.....I hope U.C. wins The Sugar Bowl for the team's sake.....I also hope the bengals lose every remaining game because they are all rich and Mike Brown is and always will be an asshole....this town deserves Mike Brown.

Finally a new post!

I haven't posted for awhile now. Burnt out from a book release and Cd release party. I got sick too. Hopefully over that by the end of the three day labor day weekend! A lot going on in politics, I'm kinda bored with it all for now. Giving Barack until January 20,2010...to fix asshole Bush's legacy.... My fight against organized religion continues forever..I've been posting on Facebook alot, that seems to satisfy my anger and happiness in short spurts... Still reading every waking day, that's good, seeing and listening to lots of music. I'll be updating this thing more often after this weekend, family time! I have a few things up my sleeve.. so stay tuned..........Chuck

Let it burn!

I was thinking about the mess this country is in and reading a little history this past week. People have bitched at me for looking at the past, it's because we never learn from our mistakes. When you let corporations and the government regulate themselves you have a mess. Look at wallstreet, look at the banks, the car industry, the Pentagon, Congress , the Senate, oil, healthcare, education, all right down the shitter. This country has been corrupt since the turn of the century 1600.

If they would have given every adult $10,000 the economy would have been back on track in a week. Think about the debt we all have, it's staggering, now people are getting 25-35 hours a week, shit health care, 401 k is a joke and the government is still as corrupt as it was in the time of Jackson on up! We are in an economic depression, how soon do you think 6,000,000 people will be back to work?

Our lives have changed drastically for the worse. Now the bullshit starts all over again!

Secular Coalition for America Meeting 8/5/09

The Secular Coalition for American is the voice of the Atheist/Secular community across the country and they voice our opinion to Congress. They have had a meeting with President Brack Obama. This is a major breakthrough for non-believers. They help keep God out of our Public Schools (creationism). Please come and voice your opinion and help keep the wall between Church and State a very tall one, I'll be there about 5:15pm and will be representing Aurore Press and our new book "godLESS"...

WAR=DEATH UPDATE

The great American past time of war, rape and pillage continues, luckily our government has plenty of volunteers willing to sacrifice their lives for our outstanding reputation worldwide. So far 760 U.S. citizens have died in Afghanistan and 4328 U.S citizens have died in Iraq. Patriotism and religious faith are one in the same.....BLIND!

This is the modern world!

I've been thinking about the state of affairs in this country for the last couple of weeks and I've come to a quick conclusion. This country is the modern Rome burning. It makes sense. Since 1492 the Europeans (all of us) have raped and pillaged the native peoples. Captured and enslaved and endentured people from other continents. Caused an internal war, killing several hundred thousands of our people. On paper emancipated them yet continued to raped and murder them for another 100 years and continue to profile them. We have let religion dictate our domestic and foreign policies. Today religion consumes the mindset of millions of people causing a major lack of tolerance for the freethinking community which in turn makes us a very superstitious and fearful nation. We have a government caught up in greed for itself. Healthcare, education and the environment take a back seat to personal gain. Which is taught to us by television, radio and the printed word. We are a nationalistic empire with an attitude problem. All of this causing economic disaster. The capital class has abused the system for so long now that the bubble has burst. The war on labor has apexed and the labor once again has lost the battle. Collapse, Crumble, Implode.
Yet the rich and the system will rise again from the ashes and we are already starting the process over again......................See you at the bottom.

Al Franken Sworn in as Minnesota Senator

Al Franken was sworn in as Minnesota senator yesterday. What an interesting life he has had. College graduate, writer and performer for Saturday Night Live. Author of several bestselling books , radio talk show host and now U.S. Senator. Al has cited Paul Wellstone as an inspiration and I like that. Al's talk show on Air America was revolutionary. It really pushed the political left to the forefront. In a country where the rich right gave George W. Bush the red carpet and suppressed any dissidence Al Franken was a beacon. Now I hope that Al is not bought off by the health care lobby and the drug lobby and the tobacco lobby and all the rest. Hopefully he will continue in the Wellstone -Kucinich tradition and do what is right by the "people" of this country. The old school Democrats are the new Republican Lite. I'll support Al until he pisses me off, just like Barack Obama. I still believe the two-party system is a complete failure, but I'm stuck with my own conscience and the lesser of two evils......for now!

This is what life would be like if it wasn't for the secular humanist, atheists of the world. We would live in the times of The Crusades, Inquisitions, Witch Hunts and the religious right... I'd take hell any day!

Religious Failure....

One of my pet peeves is AA. My father-in-law was part of that organizations for over 25 years...He died with pills and empty booze bottles. My dad has also been in AA for over 25 years and I know he is not sober, at least with pills. All those years of being preached to about this wonderful organization and it just doesn't work, it's a status symbol, a zombie cult, it's higher power is also a failure for mankind. Just like Scientology, you can talk people into anything...
