That's it! I've decided to change my life and my radical ways. I'm tired of being ANTI everything. I've given myself an ulcer being a liberal atheist.I have been fighting the system and the man for years now...I'm beat! I've been pissed off at god since high school and I have seen the light.... I think it's time for me to get in line and let myself go...I've decided to go to church on Easter Sunday.. I need some introspection of my life. What kind of father am I? Maybe my dysfunctional dad is right. The Christian God is the guy for me... I'm throwing away all my liberal books and I'm going to buy a bible this weekend and start all over again. I've discussed this with my wife and she is willing to help me with this new endeavor and I thank her....Everyone who knows me will be shocked by this revelation! What Can I Say But...

U.S. Soldier Gets 35 years for murder in Iraq..

Sgt. Joseph Mayo was sentenced to 35 years in prison for the murders of four detainees in 2007. Mayo told the military court that the detainees were bound and blindfolded and shot in the back of the head with a 9mm pistol and dumped in a canal in Baghdad. In February 2009 Sgt. Joseph Leahy was sentenced to life in prison for his part in the murders. Another soldier Master Sgt. John Hatley is scheduled to stand trial on April 13th 2009 for his part in the murders. The murders were called retribution for an attack on a US Patrol in Baghdad in which two US soldiers were killed.
So you have killings and murders and prison sentences and lives destroyed for an illegal war in which the US are the aggressors. American nationalist pride tells us that we are the good guys, the rest of the world calls us the bad guys. So when the "attacked" "attack" us we have to retaliate, collateral damage, that's what we're told. The government has to brain wash the soldiers to get them to kill and the media has to brain wash us to believe war is great and we have to follow the president. I guess it must be working because no one is protesting the killing of human beings. War just goes to prove that life is meaningless.

Only known survivor of Hiroshima and Nagasaki

93 year old Tsutomu Yamaguchi is the only known survivor of the U.S. bombings of both Hiroshima and Nagasaki. He was in Hiroshima for a business trip on August 6th 1945. He suffered serious burns from the bombing and spent the night in Hiroshima. He then returned to his home in Nagasaki. The U.S. dropped the bomb on Nagasaki on August 9th 1945. Over 200,000 people were killed between the two bombings and thousands suffered from radiation related illnesses through many generations. When you think about the destruction that happened that week you have to wonder who is the "good guy" and who is the "bad guy" during war time?
