McCain Palin Bachmann
Pictured above are the three leading voices of the new McCarthy Era!
John McCain: Senator of Arizona, Republican Baptist
Sarah Palin: Governor of Alaska, Republican Christian
Michelle Bachmann: Congresswoman of Minnesota, Republican Luthern
All three are using the tenets of modern day McCarthyism. The term is used to describe wreckless and unsubstaniated accusations as well as public attacks on the character or patriotism of political opponents.
The Republican party has reached it's lowest peak to date, running scared they have reduced themselves to name calling and mudslinging.
Joseph Raymond McCarthy: Republican Senator From Wisconsin 1947 -1957, Roman Catholic. Beginning in 1950 Joe claimed that there were a large number of Communists and Soviet spies inside the U.S. Federal government. The Cold War was in full swing and it was the perfect hoax to scare people and get them to fall in line. Typical of non-thinking and irrational beings that most americans are they fell for it. Just like they fell for all of J.Edgar Hoover's bullshit for many many years. It took until 1954 for someone to finally speak up. Senator Ralph Flanders from Vermont compared McCarthy to Hitler, accusing him of spreading division and confusion. McCarthy was censured but served out his term. He died in 1957 at the age of only 48. The official cause of death was hepitis, common knowledge was that he died of alcoholism. If I was alive back then I would have thrown one hell of a party to celebrate the death of one of America's worst.
Back to John, Sarah and Michelle, the newest of the American worst. You don't have to be a Democrat, Liberal, leftist etc, to see the writing on the ballot. We are in the midst of an American Political Cold War. Fear, economic terror, Joe the plumber, GOD, all in a good days speech writing.
The television and radio media are raking it in on useless debates and analyisis. Turn it off and use your head....

Unlike the Obama campaign that speaks nothing but the truth. Oh, that's right, the truth doesn't matter to the Democrats. Wait until Obama throws everybody that follows him under the bus with the rest of his former friends and colleagues.
IF YOU CAN'T BEAT THEM--BURN THEM!!
Florida Congressional candidate Eddie Adams Jr. (R) was admitted to Tampa General Hospital Sunday suffering from severe burns on the hands and arms. He will be undergoing additional skin grafts Tuesday.
A vandal tied a mattress to the underside of Mr. Adams pick-up truck. Friction with the road, and contact with the catalytic converter combined to ignite the bedding.
As he drove down Busch Boulevard in Tampa, Florida, onlookers began to wave and shout at him. At first, Eddie assumed that his tireless campaigning was beginning to show results, until, when stopped at the next red light, he began to smell smoke, and he realized with a shock that his truck was on fire. When he opened the door, the flames engulfed the cabin, burning Eddie's arms.
He tucked and rolled on the ground to put out his flaming clothes. Additional injuries were suffered as he tried to pull the mattress, which he found was deliberately tied to the frame, from the underside of the truck. Good Samaritans rushed to his assistance with fire extinguishers, but the truck was heavily damaged. Undeterred, Eddie will continue his campaigning as much as his recovery will permit.
At this point in the campaign, office workers with the Hillsborough County Sheriff have tallied 90 reports of vandalism against cars with Republican campaign bumper stickers, and 7 such incidents against cars with Democrat bumper stickers. Other incidents include the systematic and widespread vandalism or theft of Republican campaign signs.
Eddie is running against Democrat Kathy Castor.
This report is based upon interviews with campaign staff.
