Death Update!

We now stand at 704 in Afghanistan and 4312 in Iraq... that's 5016 that we know of...that's not counting the wounded, imagine how many dead human beings on the other side?? Seems to me we are in biblical times again....Thanks God, what a jerk off!!

THE 10 COMMANDMENTS

I checked up on a few things and I cannot find any historical evidence that a man named Moses ever existed. Does this sound reasonable to you? Dude goes up into the mountain, talks to a burning bush, comes back down the mountain with these tablets and says that this is the word of God and you must obey these things.
I forgot that dude parted the Red Sea. I think it is like 50 or 60 miles wide. Oh yeah! That really happened!!
The first four commandments tell you what a meglomaniac god must be. Number five is o.k. if your parents are worth honoring, I'm sure old Jesus dug his father forsaking him??? I guess number 6 doesn't apply to god himself as he wiped out everybody around the time of Noah and his ark? Number 7 is crap because in Genesis those cats had concubines and slave lovers. Number 8 is ok unless your god does not provide you with a job or money or unless your local police are doing their job. Does anyone really know or care about Number 9. Now we get to my favorite! Number 10. This one goes out to all the people who have to keep up with the Jones'. Or how many people covet their neighbors wife. How many people sleep with married men or women? How many cheat on their husband or wife? If you commit number 10 you can also scratch off number 7. The whole idea is absurd. We have laws to keep us in line. Common sense should show up somewhere in the equation. People fight and argue to keep these useless tablets in public places to force their beliefs on everyone else. Religion is separate from government, obviously it is way separate from science and the use of logic. If you enjoy being told what to do, what to say and what to think from someone other than your own self and your own conscience by all means read and live by the bible, not one story has any historic or scientific truth. Nothing can be proven. Faith and especially blind faith will set your mind at ease, it's an easy way out, it takes no self introspection at all. Me, I call it like I see it.

Two great graphics

I have disagreements with people from time to time concerning God and Religion in general and I found this graphic that explains BLIND FAITH in all it's glory. When I use the word REASONING to describe the madness of the bible I get the funniest looks. There is no reason or proof to believe long dead dogma,but it is still the most profitable game in town. They get away without paying taxes, now that's the greatest miracle of them all.

So many people have died in the name of Jesus and God that this graphic seemed appropriate here. From the Crusades to the Inquisition to Bush and beyond. Religious leaders the world over have become the biggest serial killers in the history of mankind. The tadpoles must be rolling in their watery graves knowing what evolution has become.

I Just Saw "Religulous" by Bill Maher

We went to see Bill Maher's RELIGULOUS a few hours ago. My awesome friend Maryanne told me I would go nuts when I saw it. Well, we used a coupon I cut out to get in for $3.25 each, the normal price is $6.50 each for a matinee, I was already hyped up. The Esquire Theatre on Ludlow is the perfect setting for a movie like this. The crowd had many older people in attendance, let's say 60 plus as the age group. They were laughing the loudest, except for me of course. I have been in touch with the inside joke of organized religion for a long time. Like I always maintain, if you can belief what the Republicans are selling you sure as hell can believe what the bible is selling. I liked the way Bill talked to out of the way people, the truck stop folks and the assorted preachers and nut jobs. Going to Mecca and the Vatican were excellent ideas. Hitting the Creation Museum in Northern Kentucky was just perfect, and funny. I've always been a fan of the hypocrisy of religion, it's just understood, no one questions it, they just keep on giving, sweet, I'm in the wrong business. Maryanne was wrong I did not go nuts at all. It's more like "I told you so", I am outspoken about religion and politics as they intertwine in the world and makes people in charge do idiotic things when it comes to domestic and foreign policy. I'm buying the DVD when it comes out for sure. I recommend the movie for any person who leans toward the religious side. It makes all three major religions, Muslim, Xtian and Jews look pretty stupid. I could get killed by a crusader for saying that. Things never change they just get more religulous every day.

Frustrated and Disillusioned

I just thought I would make a quick list of things that frustrate and disillusion me:

1. Bad middle and upper managemment decisions.
2. Same management trying to implement those decisions.
3. The wrong people in management positions to start with.
4. People who voted for George W. Bush.
5. People who voted for and still stand behind George W. Bush.
6. Those same people who will vote for John McCain.
7. People who are supposedly "religious".
8. People who use religion as a crutch.
9. People who think their God is "The" God.
10. People who try to push their religion on everyone else.

4000 Dead! Where is God?

Less than one week after the 5th Anniversary of the War In Iraq a bomb killed four more U.S. soldiers bringing the total to 4000 dead. Two huge milestones for George W. Bush. What a wonderful gift on Easter Sunday. I wonder what George's god thinks about that? Bush is about as religious as I am. The only religious thing that happened to me today was that the Easter Bunny came. I just find it hard to believe that the so called god of the world is a Republican. If the Christian god looks favorably on bombing innocent men women and children there is no wonder that I am an atheist. If god approves of 4000 dead Americans and possibly 1,000,000
dead Iraqis and millions of displaced civilians then he is no friend of mine.
But if god is for war profiteering , $4.00 a gallon for gas, domestic spying , destroying education and completely ignoring global warming (until it is deemed profitable) and spreading the Rush Limbaugh gospel of hate, than yes, I guess he would be a Republican. If he is the god of George Bush, Dick Cheney, and John McCain then maybe he is indeed America's nationalistic treasure.
After all, the American people, especially the house and senate are standing by and letting the White House get away with it. The media have honored the gag order not to mention the War. They have done their patriotic duty by covering the poor little Iraqi boy that was burned really bad and has been brought to the country responsible for his injuries in the first place. Why care now? No one gave a rat's ass about the other million dead people. What a joke our so called journalist are. They should all retire their pens .
I was just thinking that maybe I've got it all wrong. Maybe I should get right with god. I assume that means become a right winger. I guess I could buy stock in oil, Halliburton, BlackWater and The Carlyle Group. The stock market is in the shits it's a good time to buy.
Maybe it is time to give old Satan a break. I'm sure he gets tired of the saying ,"The devil made me do it."
So when you kill the enemy and his family and your wallet gets fatter and fatter at the expense of the common folk it will be o.k. If you decide to go to war with Iran and kill another million people your in good shape. You have an easy way out, all you have to say is:
"GOD MADE ME DO IT".
