long time no post

I haven't posted for a long time....Got on Facebook and never looked back. I just wanted to say that I am cracking up about the whole Brian Kelly leaving U.C. for Notre Dame. He'll probably triple his salary???? and live happily ever after. I see these idiots on t.v. making the rest of us look even stupider than the tea baggers. That's Cincinnati for you.....I hope U.C. wins The Sugar Bowl for the team's sake.....I also hope the bengals lose every remaining game because they are all rich and Mike Brown is and always will be an asshole....this town deserves Mike Brown.

Finally a new post!

I haven't posted for awhile now. Burnt out from a book release and Cd release party. I got sick too. Hopefully over that by the end of the three day labor day weekend! A lot going on in politics, I'm kinda bored with it all for now. Giving Barack until January 20,2010...to fix asshole Bush's legacy.... My fight against organized religion continues forever..I've been posting on Facebook alot, that seems to satisfy my anger and happiness in short spurts... I was thinking about the mess this country is in and reading a little history this past week. People have bitched at me for looking at the past, it's because we never learn from our mistakes. When you let corporations and the government regulate themselves you have a mess. Look at wallstreet, look at the banks, the car industry, the Pentagon, Congress , the Senate, oil, healthcare, education, all right down the shitter. This country has been corrupt since the turn of the century 1600.

If they would have given every adult $10,000 the economy would have been back on track in a week. Think about the debt we all have, it's staggering, now people are getting 25-35 hours a week, shit health care, 401 k is a joke and the government is still as corrupt as it was in the time of Jackson on up! We are in an economic depression, how soon do you think 6,000,000 people will be back to work?

Our lives have changed drastically for the worse. Now the bullshit starts all over again!

The great American past time of war, rape and pillage continues, luckily our government has plenty of volunteers willing to sacrifice their lives for our outstanding reputation worldwide. So far 760 U.S. citizens have died in Afghanistan and 4328 U.S citizens have died in Iraq. Patriotism and religious faith are one in the same.....BLIND!

This is the modern world!

I've been thinking about the state of affairs in this country for the last couple of weeks and I've come to a quick conclusion. This country is the modern Rome burning. It makes sense. Since 1492 the Europeans (all of us) have raped and pillaged the native peoples. Captured and enslaved and endentured people from other continents. Caused an internal war, killing several hundred thousands of our people. On paper emancipated them yet continued to raped and murder them for another 100 years and continue to profile them. We have let religion dictate our domestic and foreign policies. Today religion consumes the mindset of millions of people causing a major lack of tolerance for the freethinking community which in turn makes us a very superstitious and fearful nation. We have a government caught up in greed for itself. Healthcare, education and the environment take a back seat to personal gain. Which is taught to us by television, radio and the printed word. We are a nationalistic empire with an attitude problem. All of this causing economic disaster. The capital class has abused the system for so long now that the bubble has burst. The war on labor has apexed and the labor once again has lost the battle. Collapse, Crumble, Implode.
Yet the rich and the system will rise again from the ashes and we are already starting the process over again......................See you at the bottom.

Al Franken Sworn in as Minnesota Senator

Al Franken was sworn in as Minnesota senator yesterday. What an interesting life he has had. College graduate, writer and performer for Saturday Night Live. Author of several bestselling books , radio talk show host and now U.S. Senator. Al has cited Paul Wellstone as an inspiration and I like that. Al's talk show on Air America was revolutionary. It really pushed the political left to the forefront. In a country where the rich right gave George W. Bush the red carpet and suppressed any dissidence Al Franken was a beacon. Now I hope that Al is not bought off by the health care lobby and the drug lobby and the tobacco lobby and all the rest. Hopefully he will continue in the Wellstone -Kucinich tradition and do what is right by the "people" of this country. The old school Democrats are the new Republican Lite. I'll support Al until he pisses me off, just like Barack Obama. I still believe the two-party system is a complete failure, but I'm stuck with my own conscience and the lesser of two evils......for now!

One of my pet peeves is AA. My father-in-law was part of that organizations for over 25 years...He died with pills and empty booze bottles. My dad has also been in AA for over 25 years and I know he is not sober, at least with pills. All those years of being preached to about this wonderful organization and it just doesn't work, it's a status symbol, a zombie cult, it's higher power is also a failure for mankind. Just like Scientology, you can talk people into anything...

A few words on Satan

I have been in the non-religious mode alot here lately. Our next book:"godLESS" is in the works right now. I have referenced the bible a bit for my essay to be included in this project. I have also been listening to local religious radio stations. This week one of the topics has been Satan. The show comes on at 11:00pm I guess, that's when I get off work and tune in on the ride home. I crack up quite often when I listen, the dude's name is David Jeremiah and I think he is out of Plano Texas. The whole Satan thing is like a wrestling gimmick. They just keep selling it, and selling it and eventually the people buy it. I have reasoned that Satan is God's alter ego. This is where God gets to let his hair down and party a bit. Then realizes he has to get his shit together and bitch about what he likes, kind of like J. Edgar Hoover talking bad about gays, even though he was a closet cross dresser. I think Satan is the "common enemy" we all love to have to makes us feel better. I have yet to see a picture of God or Satan so I believe in neither one of them. But I'm fascinated by the way the people get in line to hand over their money to a preacher who says the same crap over and over. The bible is so boring and redundant, they have god on the brain, it has to hurt. It's like being hen pecked by an invisible wife and all the guys make fun of you behind your back. God is an instigator, hate mongor, and destroyer, Jesus is no better. It appears that God gave Satan free will and he took advantage of it. Then God punished him for it. Another example of God's bad parenting!!

Pro-Choice Doctor Killed

Pro-choice advocate Dr. George Tiller was murdered in cold blood on Sunday morning at his church of worship. Tiller who had the courage and humanitarian soul to help women in search of a legal procedure called an abortion. He was shot in the past by a religious nut who protested abortion. What is the mind set of a person who is religious but commits an act of murder. Religion casts a spell over people, a pied-piper trance, a Charlie Manson drug induced haze that makes them think that a fictitious, man made asshole of a god is on their side. Religion is EVIL. I have to laugh at people who believe in Satan and fear him, when he was made by their god in order to keep them in line, it's ridiculous.

The New God Dethroned CD

Just bought the latest God Dethroned CD called "Passiondale", with a name like that you know I'm checking them out. Brutal death metal from the Netherlands. I say them years ago at Annies and they ripped it all apart. The new CD is just as vicious.

During a period of time when there is no draft people keep volunteering for the military. We now stand at 690 dead in Afghanistan and 4301 in Iraq. What exactly are these people dying for? Bush and Cheney got rid of Saddam a long time ago. Osama Bin Laden is not even on the radar according to Bush. Most of the so-called terrorist joined up after Bush bombed Afghanistan and Iraq and placed people in prisons. Not a single one of those 4991 people died for a real cause. What a waste of humanity. That's not counting all the innocent people this country killed so Bush and Cheney and friends could get even richer. There is no noble cause for modern day warfare. Feel free to join up and die but don't do it for me, I don't need that on my conscience. The U.S. Military commits acts of terrorism everyday, there are no "good guys" in war, everyone is a loser.....

Another One Bites The Dust!

Concordia Lutheran Church located on Central Parkway is closing down soon. They have been drawing between 40 and 50 people on Sundays. This is less than most independent wrestling federations in Cincinnati. When a vote came up to see if the church should close only 47 people showed up to vote. Maybe they can use this great location for a community center or for some other secular cause. Don't be sad, be happy, it's one less religious building and congregation in Cincinnati. Things are looking up for the atheist in this town.

A big shout out to all the past President's who have gotten this country into war where millions of people have died. I can't imagine volunteering or being drafted for a political cause and being forced into killing people. Anyway, I sure am enjoy having the day off from work.

That's right! The Senate ok'd $91.3 billion dollars to step up military operations in Afghanistan. That means that a lot of innocent human beings will die. That's gallons of blood splashed on the mountains of that faraway place. The body count will continue to rise. Every bullet, every bomb, and any aggressive military act is an act of terrorism. The United States of America commits acts of terrorism every day. The Obama administration is starting to look like the same old story. We'll see what happens??

The Congress voted down President Obama's request to close the Bush embarrassment called GITMO. The Bush administration set back foreign relations 220 years by opening GITMO and ABU GRAIB prisons. I'm disappointed by the Democrats that we elected recently. Your job was to help end the wars and give us a new face for the world to see. I understand that the republicans would vote against it. Look at the brain power of that party, enough said. I say grow a pair and do the right thing, for politicians that is a tall order. If a prisoner is found guilty in a court of law then they do their debt to society and move on. But to have people in a prison and leave them there with no trial date and no representation is criminal. I still don't understand why Bush and his cronies are not locked up? I guess the same reason that all the Catholic Priests are still roaming free. They are above the law!

Single Payer Health Care

This country is in a health care crisis. There are 45 to 50 million people without any health care at all. The rest of us have over priced inadequate coverage. As the above picture states we want and need single payer universal health care. A single payer plan means that there is one central plan for everyone. With a plan like this you could do away with medicare. Everyone from birth to death would be covered.

The plan would be through the government. It would be non-profit. If you can afford it you would also have the choice to keep private insurance. This is NOT one step closer to socialism as claimed by republicans. The problem is that Washington D.C. is owned by lobbyist. If any politician who takes lobby money from the health insurance companies they should be banned from politics for life.

The money that could be saved in administration costs and buracracy would pay for most of it. I would rather pay 3-5% in taxes and be totally covered and not have all those damned co-pays and deductibles. If the democrats can't get it together now they can forget about it. Barack Obama raised alot of money in 2008. Some of that could be used for health care. The money used for two wars could help pay for it. The bailout money could help pay for it. We need a revolution from the people. Our elected officials need to be publicly scrutinized and held to their campaign promises. It might be time to take to the streets?

Just Watched "The Wrestler"

Watched "The Wrestler" last night. It focused mostly on the character's life that just so happened to revolve around professional wrestling. Mickey Rourke's character "The Ram" was a composite of Randy Savage, Greg Valentine and many others from the 1980s. Rourke was obviously the perfect pick for the role. The fact that his body was unreal and he is older now and he can relate to hitting rock bottom personally was spot on. The idea that they filmed at real independent shows like WXW, CZW and ROH was also brilliant. It was great to see Dylan Summers (The Necrobutcher) get some on screen time. The supporting cast was ok. Could have used anyone in those roles. They made a mistake by not giving wrestler Nigel McGuinness camera time. He is a star. The 80s metal soundtrack was perfect. The Springsteen song was a nice touch at the end. Overall a damn good picture show. Hopefully Rourke can get a bad guy Tarantino role to put him back in the saddle again.

60 year old solidier dies in Iraq???

60 year old Vietnam War Veteran Major Steven Hutchison died last Sunday in Iraq.
He signed up in July 2007 to fight the war on terror. Served some time in Afghanistan then deployed to Iraq. Is this man a patriot or a complete idiot?
Is our military that desperate to re-enlist a 59 year old Vietnam veteran? As far as I am concerned a true American patriot is someone who is against all war and against the horrible things his government does around the world. A complete idiot is someone who believes all the bullshit propaganda that an administration tells them and get's all "John Wayne" and then get's themselves killed for no apparent reason. I can see if you get drafted and you HAVE to go to war, but to sign up when you are nearing retirement is just plain ignorant. I'm sure Bush and Cheney appreciate Major Hutchison's death wish. Like they say, "there's a sucker born every minute"............

The new pope seems to be having absolutely no effect on anything that is happening in the world. The head of the rapidly dying catholic church is stuck in the dark ages.
